The hotel is located between Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Mt. Wakakusa, and the surrounding area has very steep slopes.

Kasuga Taisha Shrine
Located on the east side of Nara Park, this is the head shrine of approximately 3,000 Kasuga Shrines nationwide. The vivid vermilion-painted shrine buildings and the numerous stone lanterns lining the approach create a mystical atmosphere. Set against the backdrop of the Kasuga Primeval Forest, a World Heritage site, please enjoy a quiet moment of prayer in this sacred area that has marked time for eternity.

Todai-ji Temple
Todai-ji is a representative temple of Nara, housing the Great Buddha Hall with the Vairocana Buddha as its main deity, and is known as part of the World Heritage “Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara.” Its overwhelming scale and serene precincts allow visitors to feel the weight of Nara’s history.

Kofuku-ji Temple
This temple is associated with the Fujiwara clan and houses many national treasures, including the Five-Story Pagoda and Tokondo (East Golden Hall). Located north of “Naramachi,” which developed around the former Kofuku-ji precincts, the National Treasure Museum, where precious Buddhist art such as the Ashura statue is enshrined, is a must-see. Mt. Wakakusa

Kasuga Primeval Forest

Despite being very close to the city center, a mysterious landscape of thick, giant trees spreads out, and it is also registered as a World Heritage site. Enjoy a special hike enveloped in the greatness and silence of nature while admiring the stone Buddhas on the Takisaka Path and seasonal flowers.
